Sano space at Meetup: great chance for students to join the neurotech world!

On October, 27th we will lunch Sano Meetup series. As Sano Science we created an umbrella page at Meetup for events related to OpenScience, Neurotech, DIY-Bio. We want to promote and organize events from live hacking to scientific conferences and create at the same time a space for undergrad students to help them to connect with researchers and companies of the field.

Meetup is a social networking site that allows people to find and join groups related to their personal interests. It is the world’s largest platform for building communities. Our aim is to build a community of passionate and motivated learners with an avid enthusiasm toward the interaction between technology and humanity.

We aim to discuss a wide range of topics, including current BCI devices available to consumers and researchers, as well as many other forms of brain-based technology. The first event is planning on 27th October and will be dedicated to NeuroTechX. We will have a live demo of reading EEG brain signal from Muse, an affordable EEG device.

NeuroTechX is a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate the advancement of neurotechnology by providing key resources and learning opportunities, and by being leaders in local and worldwide technological initiatives.

Interested in Neuralink, EEG, brain related stuff? Come an join us for an evening where we will introduce you to the neurotech activities related to NeurotechX and future brainhack. We will have time to play with Muse and have some drinks and chat (pizza will be available for the participants!). The event is designed for undergrad students but also researchers and related species are welcome.

First Sano meetup is coming – join us!

Please notice that due to COVID-19 pandemic we have to have limitation.
