The Sano Scientific Programmers' Team

The Sano Scientific Programmers’ Team is a distinct organizational unit of the Sano Centre, with a mission to assist the Centre’s five research teams in their work on medical IT systems. We provide support particularly when it comes to using high performance computing and data storage resources, and developing customized software solutions for research. The presentation details the work of the SPT team, and highlights some of its to-date achievements.

Bio: Involved in the preparation of the Sano project since its inception, and currently assisting in the preparation of Sano’s internal documents and regulations (including English translations of the relevant documentation). Has participated in numerous collaborative research projects, both national and European, performing development work on collaborative research environments and distributed data storage systems. Also works as a translator, with several dozen published book translations under his belt.
